What we collect

  • Information you send us. When you use the contact form we collect your name, company, job title, email address, telephone number, the service you are interested in and whatever you write in the message field.
  • Correspondence. If you email us directly, we hold that correspondence and the address you sent it from.
  • Technical information. Our web server records the IP address, browser type and pages requested for each visit, as part of its normal operation and for security.
  • Cookies. See the cookies section below. Non-essential cookies are only set if you accept them.

Why we use it, and on what legal basis

We do not use the contact form to build a marketing list. If we ever want to send you anything other than a reply, we will ask you first and you will be able to refuse without affecting your enquiry.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement: up to twelve months from our last exchange, so that we have context if you come back to us.
  • Client records: for the duration of the engagement and then for as long as Spanish commercial and tax law requires us to retain them.
  • Server logs: a short rolling period, after which they are overwritten.
  • Cookie preferences: for as long as the cookie banner stores your choice, shown in the banner itself.

Who else sees it

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing. Some of it is handled on our behalf by suppliers acting as processors under contract — principally our website hosting provider and the service that delivers our email. Where you have consented to analytics cookies, the provider of that analytics service also receives technical data about your visit.

Personal data may also be disclosed where a law, a court or a public authority requires it.

Transfers outside the EEA

Where a supplier processes data outside the European Economic Area, that transfer is covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission or by Standard Contractual Clauses together with any additional safeguards required. You can ask us which applies to a particular supplier.

Your rights

You have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to have our use of it restricted, to object to processing based on our legitimate interest, and to receive it in a portable form. Where we rely on your consent you can withdraw it at any time, which does not affect anything done before you withdrew it.

To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. We will respond within one month, and will tell you if we need longer.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (C/ Jorge Juan 6, 28001 Madrid — www.aepd.es).
