Nubes Navigator AI

AI-assisted cloud migration and legacy modernization, built around evidence, economics and human control.

Nubes Navigator AI combines cloud-provider tools, independent modernization platforms and Nubes delivery intelligence to understand complex technology estates, compare transformation options and accelerate migration and modernization work.

It helps our teams analyze more evidence, model costs and risks, document legacy systems and automate repeatable work — while experienced architects remain responsible for target architecture, business logic, risk acceptance and production change.

Modernize faster without outsourcing the decision to AI

From fragmented evidence to a usable transformation plan

Cloud migration and modernization usually start with incomplete information: CMDB records, architecture diagrams, source code, monitoring data, infrastructure inventories, cloud bills and knowledge held by a few people.

Nubes Navigator AI brings these inputs into one assessment workflow. AI helps classify, summarize and connect information, while deterministic tools establish dependencies, configuration, code structure, runtime behaviour and measurable facts.

The result is not simply an AI-generated recommendation. It is an evidence base that architects and business owners can review before important decisions are made.

Use the right tool for each environment

Different platforms already provide strong specialized capabilities. AWS Transform can automate discovery and migration activities for environments including VMware and mainframe workloads. Microsoft combines Azure Migrate with GitHub Copilot modernization for assessment, planning, code transformation and Azure migration. Google Cloud Migration Center provides assessment and TCO capabilities, while Google Cloud Modernize adds agentic migration and application-modernization workflows.

Nubes Navigator AI does not try to rebuild all of these tools. It gives our consultants a controlled way to select and combine them with independent analysis, Nubes models and human engineering judgment, according to the client environment.

Turn complex estates into decisions you can act on

Estate discovery and dependency intelligence

Understand what really exists before deciding what should move.

We combine inventories, repositories, static analysis, runtime evidence and telemetry into one view of applications, dependencies and technical risk — with deterministic analysis, not AI, as the source of truth.

Migration and modernization decision modeling

Compare practical options instead of assuming that everything should move.

Retain, retire, rehost, replatform, refactor or replace — weighed against complexity, dependencies, business importance, resilience, security and future portability.

TCO and business-case intelligence

Model the cost of the transformation, not only the cost of the target VM.

We add a vendor-neutral layer to provider calculators: transition engineering, dual run, licenses, egress, application change, skills, decommissioning — and the cost of reversing the decision later.

AI-assisted legacy understanding

Turn undocumented code into structured evidence before changing it.

Approved tools explain applications, map components, draft documentation and propose business-rule candidates. Generated meaning stays a hypothesis until an owner verifies it.

Migration waves, risk and readiness

Turn assessment results into an executable sequence.

Workloads grouped into waves by dependency, criticality, complexity and downtime constraints, with runbooks, test plans, rollback steps and risk registers — reviewed by senior engineers.

Sovereign and private AI

Keep sensitive code and data inside the boundary when the boundary matters.

Private or client-approved models run inside controlled cloud, sovereign-cloud or on-premise environments, and local analyzers can replace generative AI entirely.

AI where your data is allowed to be

Digital sovereignty is now much more than choosing an EU cloud region.

The European Commission’s 2026 Cloud Sovereignty Framework assesses sovereignty against 48 criteria across eight categories: strategic, legal and jurisdictional, data and AI, operational, supply chain, technological, security and compliance, and environmental sustainability. Nubes Navigator AI therefore adapts the AI execution model to the sensitivity of the workload.

Nubes Navigator AI is designed to support data-residency, confidentiality and sovereignty requirements. Compliance itself depends on the full legal, contractual and technical environment — not only on where a model runs.

Technology ecosystem

Nubes Navigator AI combines provider-native and independent technologies according to each engagement. Tool availability depends on the source environment, the target architecture, security requirements and client approvals.

These are technologies we use or integrate with during engagements. They are not a statement of formal partnership, and the selection changes with the client environment.

Benefits

What Nubes Navigator AI changes in a modernization program.

AI should produce a faster outcome and broader evidence coverage — not simply a higher consulting rate.

Use AI where it is faster. Use deterministic evidence where it is safer. Keep humans accountable for every irreversible decision.

How Nubes Navigator AI works

Four stages, with a human decision gate before anything irreversible happens.

Discover

Collect infrastructure, application, code, runtime, cost and operational evidence.

Understand

Map dependencies, technical debt, business rules, risks and modernization constraints.

Decide

Compare placement, modernization and cost scenarios, and agree the target direction.

Deliver

Use approved automation and AI to accelerate planning, engineering, testing and migration, while humans control production decisions.

Independent by design

Most migration and modernization tooling is published by a platform vendor, and naturally optimizes for that vendor’s platform. AWS Transform automates destination-specific modernization, Microsoft’s modernization agents analyze and transform applications toward Azure, and Google Cloud Modernize combines assessment, migration and application modernization.

That acceleration is genuinely useful, and we use it deliberately — after the destination has been shortlisted on its own merits.

Nubes Navigator AI is not tied to the destination, and is not allowed to make irreversible decisions on its own.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Nubes Navigator AI?

Nubes Navigator AI is the AI-assisted migration and modernization intelligence environment used by Nubes Consulting during cloud migration and legacy modernization engagements.

It combines provider-native tools, independent analysis technologies, Nubes methods and controlled AI workflows to accelerate discovery, assessment, planning and engineering. It is designed to support consultants and engineers rather than replace technical ownership.

Is Nubes Navigator AI a standalone SaaS product?

Not primarily. Nubes Navigator AI is a Nubes delivery capability, used inside consulting and engineering engagements.

This lets us adapt the tooling, the deployment model and the AI controls to the client environment, rather than requiring every organization to send its estate into the same SaaS platform.

Does the AI decide which cloud we should use?

No. AI can process evidence and generate scenario candidates, but the platform decision remains a human architecture and business decision.

Where AWS, Azure, Google Cloud or OCI tools are used, their recommendations are considered together with alternative destinations and with the client’s existing environment.

How does Nubes Navigator AI calculate TCO?

We combine infrastructure and application evidence with pricing, licensing, engineering, operational and transition assumptions.

Depending on the engagement, the model can include target infrastructure, licenses, data transfer, migration engineering, application change, dual-run periods, support, skills, decommissioning and resilience. The assumptions stay visible, so finance, technology and procurement stakeholders can challenge them.

Can our source code stay inside our environment?

Yes, when the engagement is designed that way. We can use local analysis tools and approved self-hosted models inside the client-controlled environment, and generative AI can be disabled entirely for data or workloads where it is not permitted.

Do you train your own foundation models?

We use Nubes-controlled models, task-specific adaptations and approved open-weight models where private execution is required. We do not assume that training a new foundation model is the best answer for every engagement.

Can Nubes Navigator AI automatically rewrite a legacy application?

It can accelerate bounded and testable transformation work, but we do not treat automatic code generation as proof that a system has been successfully modernized.

Generated changes need deterministic checks, builds, tests, behavioural validation and human review before they become part of a production release.

Does Nubes Navigator AI support EU sovereign cloud requirements?

It can support sovereignty assessments and deployments by controlling where data, models and analysis execute, and by documenting the relevant technical controls.

The final sovereignty and regulatory position depends on the client’s specific requirements, and should be validated with the appropriate security, privacy and legal stakeholders.
